2010 VBS Commitment Sheet

 

THE COUNTDOWN IS ON!!! All calendars are set for the week of July 19-23, one of the most anticipated and most exciting weeks on our church calendar. This special week provides each of us the opportunity to continue teaching those precious little ones about our Savior. However, reaching our own children isn’t enough. WITH A TOTAL CHURCH INVOLVEMENT AND IN OFFERING TWO VBS PROGRAMS THIS WEEK, we also hope to extend out into our local community, sharing to a lost and dying world that there is indeed hope!

                       

 

“YEE-HAW!!”  This year’s VBS theme is SADDLE RIDGE RANCH: Roundin’ Up Questions … Drivin’ Home Answers!  During this exciting week, children Age 3 through Grade 5 will saddle up for a “week on the range” that they’ll not soon forget … roundin' up questions like:  "What is God's plan for me?" and "How can I be like Jesus?”  As they participate and learn in a different and exciting western adventure each session, they will enjoy great music, games, interesting stories, awesome snacks, and MORE (even a few surprises)!  At the end of the day, their experience at SADDLE RIDGE RANCH will be a “rip-roaring” place where they'll discover that God's Word has all the answers!

 

Now, how can YOU get involved in this “once-a-year” awesome experience? Listed below are several areas of opportunity that will be available during the week. As you pray about assuming your area of ministry, please “check off” EACH AREA below which interests you. Your interests will be matched with our staffing needs, and you will be contacted for more discussion. Finally, you will be the one to make final approval of your VBS assignment. So what are you waiting for??

SPECIAL NOTE:  Because of growth, we hope to offer both a morning and evening VBS the week of July 19-23.  THIS WILL REQUIRE A GREAT DEAL OF STAFFING AND CHURCH-WIDE INVOLVEMENT, SO PRAYERFULLY CONSIDER YOUR COMMITMENT THIS YEAR.  Times for the morning sessions will be 9:30-11:45 AM, and times for the evening session will be 6:30-8:45 PM.  Please indicate your session preference below:

STAFFING NOTE:  VBS staff positions will be filled on a “first-come, first-served” basis, so be sure to turn in this completed commitment sheet soon.  You can submit your form in several ways … placing it into a designated collection basket (one in the foyer and one in the connector area), the offering plate, getting it to “Mr. Tim”, bringing it by the church office, or faxing it to the church anytime (996-9791). You can also find this form online at www.triadbaptist.com. Simply look under “VBS Commitment”, complete the form, and submit it there. It’s that easy! Still have questions?
