Billie Evans (992-7782)
(We also have a Sunday school class for
seniors which meets at 9:30 AM)
Besides
being a Triad Baptist Church member, what is required to be a
Faithful Friend?
We
have a president/tour director, secretary, treasurer and other
service coordinators who work to make a successful program.
We
have an activity each month. We
sometimes have meals together, go on day trips/overnight trips.
We usually see one or two dramas and visit several places of
interest. We also enjoy
activities with our TBC children and youth as well as having outside
entertainment.
Our
itinerary for the remainder of this year includes:
The Virginia Dare Luncheon Cruise on Smith Mountain Lake; A
trip to the Blue Ridge Parkway for fun, fellowship, food, and
“Singing on the Mountain;” an overnight trip to Manteo/Lost
Colony and the
North
Carolina Aquarium; The Orchard at Altapass, Gem Mountain, Wagon Tour
of Orchards and Picnic Lunch; Blowing Rock/Boone, Mystery Hill, Mast
General Store, Outdoor Drama – “Horn in the West;” Dinner with
our TBC Staff and a Fashion Show; Shatley Springs; a Mystery
Activity’ and a Christmas Party.
The
cost for all our activities is held to a minimum since TBC
subsidizes a portion of our budget.
We
have lots of food, fellowship, games, and “tons of fun.”
We
would love to have you come and join us.
For information about our group see Billie Evans, Anne Davis,
or Al Smith.
Our
nation also needs our constant prayers. And remember to “Praise God
From Who All Blessings Flow”.
