CHILDCARE OPTIONS

 7:00 – 8:00 AM and 3:00 – 6:00 PM

Summer Camp programs are also offered for an additional fee.

BEFORE SCHOOL

 

     Child Care is available for children  (K-6th grade) attending Triad Baptist Christian Academy during the months of August through May.  This service is available from 7:00 - 8:15 AM. 

 

AFTER SCHOOL

 

     Child Care is available for children  (K-6th grade) attending the following schools during the months of August through May: Sedge Garden Elementary, Kernersville Elementary, Union Cross Elementary, Piney Grove, Cash Elementary, Caleb's Creek, and Triad Baptist Christian Academy.

     Children from Sedge Garden, Caleb's Creek, and Union Cross are transported to our facility by the Winston Salem/Forsyth County transportation system. Children from Cash, Kernersville, and Piney Grove are transported on a TBCA bus. All day care (7 am – 6 pm), which includes the chargeable option of two snacks, is available to these children on days the schools are closed. Activities for after school participants include daily devotions, homework room, crafts, centers, organized games and occasional field trips.

     After School tuition includes care during scheduled school closings according to the Winston Salem/Forsyth County calendar. In addition, inclement weather days (not to exceed 8) are included. Fees for field trips and special activities on these days will be charged to each participant’s account.

 

SUMMER CAMP

 

     Serving children who have completed grades Kindergarten through 6th grade, the camp is divided by age/grade groups. All summer programming is planned around weekly themes. Children have the opportunity to enjoy art, games, nature crafts, puppets, story-telling, cooking, devotions, character development, special guests, swimming and field trips. All children are encouraged to participate in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.  Generally there are 10 weeks of summer camp scheduled to begin and end in accordance with the Forsyth County school schedule. Participants may register for as few or as many weeks as desired.
