WELCOME TO
TRIAD
BAPTIST CHRISTIAN ACADEMY
Triad Baptist Christian Academy is the result of a God-directed vision of Triad
Baptist Church, and is a ministry of the church. Our desire
is to be a partner with our parents in the teaching and
training of our children.
The Academy adheres to the statutory standards set forth
by the state of North Carolina. We hold a Notice of
Compliance from the NC Department of Non-Public Education
which states that we operate
in compliance with applicable provisions of the statutes. A
state-licensing representative to assure compliance visits
the center on a regular basis.
PROGRAMMING
ACCREDITATION
Our goal is to have The
Academy fully accredited through The
Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
CERTIFICATION
Our teachers and substitutes are to be NC state certified or
in the process of becoming ACSI certified. All of our
teachers and substitutes are to be actively involved in
becoming ACSI certified.
CURRICULUM
The
Academy will be using the a combination of A Beka, Bob Jones Press
and ACSI curriculum.
SPECIAL
CLASSES
Special sessions in Spanish, music, art, gym,
and basic computer skills will be taught on a weekly basis.
CLASS
SIZE
All
classroom ratios comply with or exceed the current licensing
laws set forth by the state of North Carolina.
ASSESSMENTS
Through ACSI, the center will test the
students using The Stanford 10, Form C, Multiple Choice
Assessment, designed exclusively for Christian Schools,
possibly including a Bible section.
CHILDCARE
OPTIONS
7:00 – 8:15 AM and 3:00
– 6:00 PM
Summer Camp programs are also offered for an additional fee.
LUNCH
We have hot, catered meals available
for purchase. We distribute a monthly menu for our
students or they may bring a lunch from home.
